Rules & Regulations
 

1. Bidding will begin on Wednesday, Oct 12, 2022 at 5:00pm. Final bids must be completed by 8:30 pm, Saturday, Oct 15, 2022. 
2. Winning bidders will be announced at 9pm, Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022. Winning bidders will also be notified by phone.
3. Bidding will begin at 40% of Fair Market Value of each item. See Bid Sheets for starting bids for each item.
4. Each bid must be in increments of 10% of Fair Market Value. See Bid Sheets for minimum incremental bids.
5. All bids must be written on bid sheets.
6. All bids must include bidder’s full name, phone number, and email address to be a qualifying bid.
7. If the final bid is higher than the Fair Market Value of the item, the dollar difference between the Fair Market Value and the final bid is considered a charitable contribution to Dyslexia Reading Center. 
8. Individuals may bid more than once per item.
9. All bids and sales are final. Bidders assume all risks and limitations (including any age restrictions for participation in activities on gift certificates.) All items are sold “as-is”.
10. At the end of the auction, winning bidders must pay the winning bid amount in full when winners are determined on Saturday night before receiving items. Payment may be made by cash, check made out to “Dyslexia Reading Center”, or Cash App ($drccpa). 
11. Items must be picked up on Sunday, Oct 16, 2022 (Race Day) after 9 am at the Dyslexia Reading Center booth during the Tussey Mountainback. Upon confirmation of payment, the winning bidder must present ID and sign for the release of the item.
